School Life in Russia

Hello Friends!
Today i'm here to answer our main question based on the russia school life.

Firstly we can say that it last for nine grades and as medical aid, it's free for everyone, yeah, we know we can find this example in many countries, but in Russia it really works !!

They study not only the history of Russia but also the world history, including American and European history so some people use to give them a fame that they know a little bit about virtually everything.

Different that american teenagers, russia teenagers unlike doing sports, and i think we can explain that because the weather is pretty different over there, is too cold, so doing sports can be very difficult.

(This is a Russian School)

Well, I don't know exactly if in Russia they have to wear uniforms or if they can wear whatever they like, i'm realy searching but i'm starting to believe that there is no schools in Russia, because i cant find informatios about it, just the usual!!!

To end i'm posting a picture (the only one) that i found with little russian students, and after a few minutes observing, they wear the same type of clothes and the same color, but it are not the same (and it's very strange too)

Keep doing your searches because i'm doing my best to find anything about them!
xoxo
Barbara (:

hey guys, thus is bruna and ana, we couldn`t go to class today because we have to study to maths test(this is just a break).
But we are posting today to help winning the PIZZA DAY !!!!

ok, this photo we are posting is bruna in the Cambridge School of art and Science. She went to England in 2007 to study(cult trip).
She told that she has experienced a very different routine, and she made friends of all over the world, so that, she could compare completely different cultures. For example:her Japanese friends said that they used to go to karaoke, there they meet their friends, drink, dance and sing.
We go out to drink and dance but no to SING! so it`s quite different.

Good class!
see ya

British teenagers having fun

The british teenagers go out at the weekends to many different places to have fun. Some of them prefer going out to nightclubs like TigerTiger. It´s a very famous nightclub in the midle of London where happens events and celebrations.

Also we can remind about the site that gave england the status of the country of the beer, hooligans and football, the notorius Pubs. There you can hear very often “soccer is for woman” that phrase in particular is usualy said by british guys.

We can see that the young british like going out to the Bowlling to spend the Saturday night playing, drinking and dancing in Hollywood Bowl. This place is located in London near the underground station. An other option is hanging out in the cinema and after to have a snack at Mc Donald’s.

The One Question to rule them all...

Hail everyone!

Let me answer "the One Question to rule them all": are all the teenagers the same?

Well, almost, but not exactly the same. Teenagers are the age group that is most influenced by the north-american culture. Local culture is most times preserved, but there are no places where people don't drink coke, wear jeans or listen to american music. In fact, music has always been one of the most characteristic cultural aspects of generations of teenagers. Although local music is always linstened to, it's most of the times very influenced by whatever is being succesful in the USA, especialy in the kinds of music that teenagers like to listen to. American music is so well known that it can even be more sucsesful abroad than in the USA, like the punk movement, that started in New York with The Ramones, but was only strong after reaching the UK, where it was succesful amongst the teenagers of that time.

That is a reason why teenagers are almost the same around the world: the music they listen is always influenced by the same culture.

Hi!!

I agree with Ana when she says about teenagers being similar...In Japan uniforms are obligatory too...

Uniforms... all public schools in Japan wear uniforms, I think. These come in several basic varieties: for boys, it is usually the black pants and jacket with gold button down the front and a white shirt inside, or sometimes it is a sort of suitlike thing. For girls, it is a "kon" (a kind of dark blue) or grayskirt, with either a sailor top or a white shirt and matching vest. These vary in detail from school to school, and so you can tell what school people you meet on the street go to.

With this information we can say that teenagers in this two countries are not the same when we talk about school uniforms, but they can be similar in their school life too?

In the next post I'll put some informations about japanese school life...

this is so cool, you can write lots of funny things.I guess me and bruna are going to do one for us !! we don't know about what, but we're thinking, it's a very interesting idea.

whatever, i found a site that explains in details how is the school day there(England). If you want to see more click there : http://www.woodlands-junior.kent.sch.uk/schday/Start.html

Their class usually starts almost at 9 a.m.Its very different, because there they have lots of other things to do beyond the classes(mathes,history...).They almost spend the entire day there. They have for example culinary, gymnastic, arts, drawing classes. This is just one of all the options that they have. For me this is very very cool, i wish we had it too.

After this, they have the choice to continue in the school and practise some sports.

To finish, i just wanted to apologize if i wrote something wrong.

school life in England

Hey guys !

The question that teacher suggested us to answer:

"Are teenagers all the same ??"

well, in my opinion teenagers are not the same, but they are similar. For example, depending on the country you live you have or not to wear uniform to go to school. In England, it's obligatory.

The boys wear suits and ties with the name of the school, and the girls usually wear skirts, long socks and a social t-shirt, with the name too.

I've got a picture to show you:
