The One Question to rule them all...

Hail everyone!

Let me answer "the One Question to rule them all": are all the teenagers the same?

Well, almost, but not exactly the same. Teenagers are the age group that is most influenced by the north-american culture. Local culture is most times preserved, but there are no places where people don't drink coke, wear jeans or listen to american music. In fact, music has always been one of the most characteristic cultural aspects of generations of teenagers. Although local music is always linstened to, it's most of the times very influenced by whatever is being succesful in the USA, especialy in the kinds of music that teenagers like to listen to. American music is so well known that it can even be more sucsesful abroad than in the USA, like the punk movement, that started in New York with The Ramones, but was only strong after reaching the UK, where it was succesful amongst the teenagers of that time.

That is a reason why teenagers are almost the same around the world: the music they listen is always influenced by the same culture.
